I remember I was so excited when I bought my first bicycle in Florence that I simply told everyone about it! It was just amazing to ride the small and tidy streets of Florence, or simply to admire Ponte Vecchio while the wind was blowing softly against my body.
Riding a bike is a great way to go from one point to the other, but if you are in the city for only a few days you don’t need to buy a bicycle as I did. You can just rent one of have a bike tour. I like the idea of a bike tour because someone “explains” the city to you and will take you to the best places. In the video below they had a break at one of my favorite ice cream shops: La Carraia.
